After the completion of International GreenBuild Conference 2011 and Urban Oasis (student contest, workshop, lecture and exhibition), organised by organisations Ecoist and, a publication ,,Sustainable buildings and Urban Oasis'' has been published.

Slobodan Spasić, editor of publication ,,Sustainable building and Urban Oasis'' in foreword states ,,Ovaj svojevrstan infobiblio nastao je kao rezultat truda grupe Ecoist koja je, inspirisana problematikom sindroma „bolesnih zgrada“, organizovala prvu Međunarodnu konferenciju zelene gradnje i Urbane oaze''.

This unique infobiblio is the result of group effort of Ecoist, which, inspired by issues of "sick building" syndrome, organised the first International GreenBuild Conference and Urban Oasis''.

The publication is a collection of papers presented during the autumn of 2011 in Belgrade, and consists of four parts:

• Sustainable construction
• Systems of integrated vegetation in buildings
• Urban Oasis
• Sustainability and society

Ecoist team would like to thank reviewers, without whose thoughtful contributions, pages in publication would be lacking its meaningfulness, especially young authors (of which considerable number had premiered with such a role). We would also like to express gratidude towards the Royal Embassy of Kingdom of the Netherlands in Belgrade and Fund for Environmental Protection of Serbia for the support and financial resources that have allowed the realization of the publication.
